yeah it’s so silly! they used to all come with little buttons and twiddly knobs and i relied on them so much and somehow didn’t even think about it when ordering
seems i have plenty of good options for little remotes and macro pads though thankfully
as an aside to this - complete long shot but does anyone know a good shortcut remote/macro pad thingie that works with linux? i can just configure keyboard shortcuts ofc but i'd really like something with multiple knobs and buttons and things that i can easily operate with one hand

for all my complaining i basically use like 2 brushes for all my art which shouldn't be difficult to replicate, so it'll probably be mostly a matter of getting my shortcuts and workflow set up right but still ughhhhh
however i now have the unenviable task of attempting to switch to krita as my main art program - not unenviable because krita is bad by any means, but because i'm extremely used to procreate and clip studio paint and i cannot get the latter to run well on linux for the life of me

it's a shared worry with a lot of us, i'm sure. i also hate it very passionately and working in webdev, it's really difficult to not explode with frustration all the time when everyone around me at my job is deeply entrenched in LLMs and "agents" while all i can do is watch as it chews up our repos
