Can’t see why the word β€˜fewer’ is in the recommendation for manipulatives.

Sad to see the end of Moorcroft Pottery - one more piece of our history to go with some blame put on β€˜a rash of cheap, illegal forgeries from overseas!!!!

Is this from Conrad Wolfram being considered within the curriculum review?

β€œIn real-world maths, computers do almost all the calculating; by contrast, in
educational maths, people do almost all the calculating.”

"The fundamental problem at the heart of today’s maths education crisis.”

Square Club - It would be good to know who are the names behind your company. Seems Joe and Adam are named on the website but who are they and what is their background in education?

As with anything it is how the EdTech is used. Dynamic manipulatives have so much untapped potential in preference to the PPT

Fractions always a topic where visuals can help.
However need children to decide the questions. E.g β€œWhat if we had …….. "
Polypad is great for working with children rather than asking them to watch a 'fixed’ PPT animation.
Love Polypad.

Home | Slido - Audience Interaction Made Easy Slido is an easy to use Q&A and polling platform. Increase engagement at your meetings, events, and conferences.

If you have not tried Slido.com I would recommend giving it a try - integrates so nicely in PPT.
I really like it and have to say the Slido support team are superb at responding quickly.

Not familiar with Liam Hudson but have googled and his idea of Convergent thinkers looking for one answer and Divergent thinkers looking for a variety of answers is what was intended. Point being that the random generation supposedly for WODB does not work well IMO.

To get a reason for all of the 4 sections on the WODB grid you sometimes have to think β€˜outside of the box’
Do you have other solutions for this grid?

Word of the day, for the umpteenth time, is β€˜apricate’, the sister of β€˜apricity’. It means to bask in the warmth of the sun, especially on a chilly day.
