At least you’re not an obnoxious pro-Boston hockey fan. #silverlining
And I skip many activities that I would have done before but aren't important enough for me to risk my health. It sucks but it beats the alternative. Nothing short of complete isolation is 100% safe, but that doesn't mean you should do nothing to protect yourself. 3/3
But you have to take what you consider to be reasonable steps to protect yourself. We only eat at restaurants that have well-ventilated outdoor areas. If I want to go to a public event, I wear a mask even though I get (so far, thankfully, only subtle) reactions from people. 2/3
The key issue here is Quality of Life. There is no doubt that masking impacts one's QOL. You cannot eat inside a restaurant, masks are uncomfortable, and many people have a tendency to shun you when you try to protect yourself. 1/3
I feel your pain, although mine is getting better all the time.
Lethal Weapon - no name change required.
And then there's Corey Perry, a 40-year old hockey player who has played in (and played a large role in) 4 of the last 5 Stanley Cup finals.
Overheard in my house tonight: “people tell the truth on Reddit“. I kid you not.
