Yeah, the response to these events has been pretty insane. I can't imagine camping out for an action figure, but people are doing it. I saw the SS Goku is going to made available online, I'm hoping the kid Goku gets the same treatment.

It's like signing up for abuse as I don't think there's a truly safe space in this country no matter how liberal the city.

My own feelings largely stem from a non-religious perspective. I don't believe in an afterlife and that we only get one shot at life so you should be able to live that life on your terms. How one identifies does no harm to anyone else and it's just basic human decency to respect that.

S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyan Goku – The Games Begin Hey look! Another Goku! It was around 8 years ago that Bandai released an update to their Goku body. Dubbed the 2.0 mold, the company has since created many action figures of the legendary hero since then. There's nothing inherently wrong with the sculpt, but some aspects of it have become dated. When Bandai wanted to do an update to Goku's legendary Super Saiyan form, the company opted to completely redo the body rather than kitbash something together.

After seeing many other characters get brand new molds in front of him, Goku finally gets that upgrade from Bandai and Tamashii Nations that Dragon Ball fans have been looking for. Was this one worth the wait or did Bandai take a step back with its 3.0 Goku?

I do have more, but I like the difference in sizes here. And I think of the Playmates/Super7 design as being different vehicles (Party Wagon vs Turtle Van), though I did pass on Super7's offering.

It also seems that everyone agrees the US ended up with the better SMB2. And for us kids during that time, a lot of the oddball characters are pretty memorable thanks to the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.

NECA TMNT Mirage Studios The Shredder – Worms of Madness Bring on the madness! NECA's dance with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles began way back in 2008 with a set of four turtles based on the first issue of the comic series. That set would then have other figures crafted around it of which most were cancelled, but when the license opened up and TMNT proved a hot seller they all found their way into the hands of collectors.

Let's get silly this #TurtleTuesday. NECA gave us new turtles based on the art of Jim Lawson years ago and they needed a new Shredder to fit in with them stylistically. NECA delivered, but unfortunately also stuck him in a two-pack with a variant you might not want.

Oh man, I wish! I love the Gamecube one and it's barnstorming single player mode. The Wii one was fine, but not as fun.

I was a fan as a kid and am in for the four busters, but that Janine is tempting.
