Yesterday, I had the theme from Efteling's Carnaval Festival ride stuck in my head. Today it's the theme from The Wombles... I swear these do not feature on any of my playlists 😆 Why is my brain so random?

If something good can come out of Sunday's fire, maybe it can be a new appreciation for the city's architecture and a new-found drive to protect it before too much more of it is lost.

Catching up on The Beauty finale. The minute I saw Isabella Rossellini I wondered if we'd get a Lisle callback and I absolutely love that she's the antithesis of Lisle. And, of course, the necklace bodice.

Royal Mail hasn't delivered any post to us in more than a week! I bumped into the postie this morning & he had nothing for us. Where TF is all my stuff? Gonna need to get a supermarket mother's day card at this rate as the Etsy one is AWOL.

I really enjoyed The Bride! Last night. I liked the aesthetics, the weirdness, the nods to other genre films, the film noir-esque side plot, the monster Bonnie and Clyde stuff. It was a fun cinema trip.

Bloody hell. I remember my little sister got her favourite butterfly bookmark taken off her at an airport in France pre-9/11 because it was metal. A very dangerous butterfly shaped chib, obviously 🙄
