I cheered on the women’s hockey team *before* our men’s team. When it was time to cheer for our men, I did, just as excitedly. I cannot describe how disappointed I am that I did. A gold medal, after 40 years, absolutely ruined for me after this behavior & behavior with Patel. Heartbreaking.

just catching up on today's olympics news and once again, american women athletes are amazing.

I was in the courtroom when my father became a naturalized citizen in 1987. In 1988, he voted for Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow Coalition. He explained to me the importance of voting for people who represented who were like us and spoke out on our behalf. I will always be thankful for his work. RIP♥️
