2 yr ago, I tried to put a RO on my cousin who was on meth and broke into my house multiple time, vandalized, and attempted setting the house on fire with me and my partner (and dog!) inside. I had 6 separate incidents caught in 4k w/ mult cameras. Cops wouldn't even review it. Had to get a lawyer.

American expressions and jokes tend to be violent or gross and I don't love it. I've been trying to cure my own language of things I don't mean, but it's not that easy because I don't honestly know how we're supposed to live in America and not laugh about violence if only to get through the day.

Yeah dad was a neopagan. Mom, for all that she kept sending me to the terrible "disabled people are going to hell" church, has a lot of new age tendencies, and my dad's parents were the good kind of methodists. So I at least knew there were OPTIONS.
If people are content with what they have and don't want more, as long as they don't make it my problem i think that's wonderful for them.

But I have mostly so far run into "I can't believe poor people have cellphones" from people with more than one house.
