Today, in the βfree state of Florida,β we are living under a near-total abortion ban. Diversity programs, LGBTQ rights, and gender affirming care are under attack like never before, and as far as Ron DeSantis is concerned, the State of the State has never been better.
HB 289 is a broad bill that could mean lawyers, not doctors, will be consulted if a pregnant patient needs health care, including in an emergency. That's not right.
