Judge orders pause on ICE detention center construction in Maryland The 14-day pause on converting a warehouse in western Maryland into a facility housing as many as 1,500 detainees comes amid questions about the facility’s environmental impact.

In January, I joined 100s of Marylanders in Hagerstown who made clear they did not want an ICE detention facility near their community.  
 
While Trump’s lawless ICE operation continues to ignore public sentiment, this is an important ruling.

ICE uses children as bait.

They did it with little Liam Ramos, the boy in the blue bunny hat.

He ended up being detained in a camp until public pressure got him released.

This 14 year old girl was taken & transported across state lines.

Republicans, please fund FEMA, without including more money for ICE. Break out ICE from the bill as Senator Murray has asked.

REI also outfitted ICE in Minneapolis this winter, in case you need another reason to stop shopping there.

The thousands of feds were easier to spot at first because they very obviously weren't dressed for the cold, and that stood out. Then, they went shopping, and REI was happy to sell to them.

Some people are probably wondering what prompted the tear gas and less than lethal rounds l used in Vermont. The video above is from the crowd prior to the warrant being executed. ICE later executed the warrant and that’s when the violence began

ICE agents did not detain their target in operation that led to chaotic standoff - VTDigger Federal authorities said Thursday that a person detained Wednesday after a standoff at a South Burlington home was not the person identified in a warrant they had obtained to make an arrest.

ICE caused my kids' school to go on lockdown, and boy, I feel so much safer that they almost arrested a day laborer.
