This project was very fun. I felt like we were making a GBA title.
I would like to thank @microsoft for making tasks that used to be simple more difficult. No I will not use Hello Windows, One Drive or Copilot. Please stop trying. Fetch is not going to happen.
Just book marked it. I love a good indie focused game site. Keep it up, I like your writing style.
If youβve ever wanted to hit vegetables with a sword, I have great news for you!
I looked at so many WW2 airplanes when designing the cockpit for the ship. I still really love how it (and the game) came out.
Barber, Rouge, Lizard, Flyer
The Game Jam this was entered in said we couldnβt name it Butt Skunks. Soβ¦ we didnβt.
Well, what I thought would be a quick upgrade turned into a whole task. But I'm happy to announce that the Fishmonger Hut is done and you can download the update now! If you use it in a project let me know. I would love to the places it goes. #indiedev #gameasset #crocotile3D #blender
This game was born from a very bad dream I had. @petermjgross.bsky.social brought it to life with some amazing coding for the "problem" on the ship.
What started in #PicoCad had to be fixed in #Blender so the UVs were not jacked up in #Crocotile3D. I am getting close to finishing up the texture repaint. #indiedev #pixelart #lowpoly
Is your rotate in the gif an animated camera render? I really like how you show off your work in Crocotile
Over a year ago I entered a PicoCad comp and made a fishing hut. I imported it into #Crocotile3D and started redoing the textures. #pixelart #indiedev #fishing
There's a difference between designing game worlds & experiencing them.
@thenarrativedept.bsky.social explains how identifying an environment's values can create worlds from the top down that are consistent from the bottom up.

Match-3 murder in the desert: Dolan's Cadillac is a PICO-8 game of murder, vengeance, and poorly marked road hazards.

Crocotile has very nice lighting/shadow tools. They can be set up to emulate ps1 vertex shading. It doest 100% look the same because it does math better than the PS1 gpu.
Wow! Thatβs excellent environment building.
With PicoSteveMo and life getting busy I have not had time to open RPG Maker in a while. Tonight I fixed that. #indiedev #pixelart #rpgmaker
Some truly inspired reasons to ask a car to run someone over for you!
Ever dream of being a space delivery pilot? I am so happy how the first person pilot view turned out on this one.
@petermjgross.bsky.social
could only use a limited amount of words for this comp entry and did an amazing job! Give Thursday in Space a spin! #indiedev #interactivefiction
My Surface 4 that I use for on the go game development isn't Windows 11 compatible. It just threw up another full screen ad for a Copilot+ surface. Anyway, I am moving all my dev stuff onto a thumb drive then installing Linux #Mint
Yay! Weβve enjoyed your commentary on our work as you play! Always a delight!
#PicoSteveMo 3 has come to an end. You can now play Christine Taxi! @petermjgross.bsky.social gave it words. I gave it pixels and our friend Cort gave it code. #indiedev

A year ago you played Stand Elsewhere. At the end you asked someone to make a Christine based game for PicoSteveMo 3. So we did that for you. Enjoy.

For #ScreenShotSaturday, art from @conmaned.bsky.social for the #Pico8 work in progress that's part of this year's PicoSteveMo game jam.
It's the same jam that brought you Dolan's Cadillac postgoodism.itch.io/dolans-cadil...
and Stand Elsewhere

Every drawing/pairing reaches a point where you suddenly hate hit. That is the point where if you push through it will suddenly come together. Then Iβm the other side is something you will like. Itβs a strange phenomenon Iβve had to endure far to many times in my art life.
Throw some shadows under the finger that crosses the bottom hand and under the A gap over the nose/upper lip area. You are at that strange push through moment where itβs better in the other side. But itβs good!
This looks fantastic! Love the Silent Hill feeling it has.
Re-doing my introduction post:
