There's a lot of varying levels of oxidation, so its been happening for a while... its plastic, possibly hdpe, so i think an additive like a surfactant in the antifreeze or a solvent like radiator flush has been eating it up. Kinda neat! Also a little disappointed it was so straightforward!
my century told me it was low on coolant, so after shitting myself I checked and it was fine. Huh! popped the coolant level sensor out and it looks like a hall effect sensor. Works fine, the float has just been disintegrating and just now kicked the bucket. ez glue job :3

chevy engineers putting the fuse box on the wheel well seemingly with no consideration what a wheel does when its wet is some german car shit. I get its a van and they barely have room for shit but holy moly 😳
Last thing mechanically wrong is no low beams! Scan tool was also able to show me that the body controller sends a signal to the relay but it never makes it through the fuse box... pull it all apart and !!!

fouled #7 plug was the culprit of the misfire. scan tools are way cool cuz it'll just tell me which one is fucking up
Very cool being inside the car and working on its engine! It's a mofuckin LS 6.0 3500 so it hauls ass and a trailer, and for 1600 bux I literally couldn't say no. I was reminded of my sbc sierra when I ripped it down the freeway after fixing up that misfire. LS motors fuck brah

a medieval-style page of @trufours.bsky.social's Devil character Lujo! (no gender) in all his slinky glory. I've tried to depict the written English (gothic calligraphy) in a faithful way. Learning about minims, thorns, etc. "Let it be knowne of (that) babewyn Lujo, a talonned and beastly, basiliske of chrism skinne and doggerel, forkt, curst tung possesses a grete numbre of condemnations of (the) vertuous Wyfe. Of temptations, of slytherynge wythoute scales, awaits sejant."
