Yeah pretty much! Granted the “going into a dangerous murder house” was never an option, I was definitely taken along on my share of situations I shouldn’t have been lmfao-so I can see Leo being like “stay here it’s dangerous” and Mikey being like “SPLINTER SAID YOU HAVE TO TAKE ME WITH U”

As a baby sibling to three sisters, I can say the trope definitely comes from the fact that younger ones want to do EVERYTHING their big siblings do. I used to BEG my sister to take me with her places, and would get her into trouble when she’d say no 😭

Ooh, I can see the straps/belts being color coordinated to each puppy! And the trims of the gear as well! Might make it easier for slash too if we were to say, hypothetically, a pup managed to get a piece of gear off who’s it was 😈

Ended up doing some sketches, I switched the animals tho(Raph being a cat/mikey a dog now) because i thought “hm Raph losing his claws so he can’t fight would devastate him-and MIKEY WITH NO BARK??”

#tcest but not rlly relevant. This thread reminded me of this picture I took of a cat laying under a dominos order window-very Cat Mikey vibes

Raph also ends up being closer to Leo, often going on runs with him and (begrudgingly) sitting with him to watch Space Heroes if it means he gets extra pets and scratches!

And because he’s much older, he’s a lot harder to really domesticate-but Mikey is very helpful in keeping him calm and “being his voice” essentially. In turn, Raph helps carry Mikey around(being bigger) when his hands are hurting!
