If you are one of the people criticising the decision that 'nature' will be the theme of our new banknotes, please note:

You are not criticising the government, nor Labour, nor the Chancellor, nor the Bank of England.

You are criticising the public, who chose 'nature' above all other options.

Think it'll be news to Beavers they are fighting political injustice and are somehow woke by existing on a bank note.

The world is a complete mess, conflict, chaos and corruption everywhere but what I need to focus on is a small animal on a bank note. Great job as ever Nige.

The strait of the states could work too.

At least Conte had some credit in the bank. Not the case with Tudor.

Both in terms of Tottenham Hotspur, and.. well the world more generally.

Mason come home, at least we might score a few goals..

This should have been a COVID game or maybe got played behind closed doors..

I was going to compare us to Lost but I'd say that got better as it went on.

We're closer to the Walking Dead at this point, years on from our best, struggling without our main characters, widely unpredictable and a total mess.

Theoretically would it be possible to forfeit the rest of the game, and well also the season?

I mean maybe wait til after Tudor goes the way of the Mary Rose first but what the hell are we going to do?

Farage delivers energy sermon at the pump – just don’t mention the war Reform leader’s Derbyshire petrol station stunt grinds to halt when questions on Iran leave him short-tempered

β€œWhile Nige has been brown-nosing Trump with his warmongering, he’s missed that most of the country doesn’t want to follow the orange narcissist into an illegal war with no fixed objectives other than continue till The Donald gets bored”

FACTS:

Net Zero barely nudges your bill.

Fossil‑fuel wars send it through the roof.

So when Farage and his ilk slags off renewables while fanning conflict, remember who actually hikes your costs.

We are facing an energy crisis.
Britain is the worst exposed in
Europe with only 2 days gas
supply stored.
If only we had our own gas to
exploit.
Or our own oil.
Or our own coal....

Blame @Ed

If only we had clean, renewable energy and were not beholden to a dirty, expensive, dangerous commodity that pollutes our environment and is the source of most of our geopolitical woes.

Most economists were talking about 2 more interest rate cuts in the next few months. Now they are saying we will probably have a rise. All because of Trumps war with Iran.

He's going to try that move again. But I just keep thinking that sand bunker at Mar-a-lago, is going to reveal itself to be quicksand in short order, this time around.

Would this be the same Iran conflict Kemi Badenoch has just spent an entire week calling Keir Starmer a coward for not wanting to join?

The 5 Live phone in is usually an accurate barometer of the mood of the country.
Today's was overwhelming in support of the position adopted by Starmer.

It turns out the U.S. did a β€œdouble tap” attack just as emergency responders were arriving at the girls’ elementary school. This is what the Russians do routinely in Ukraine.

That’s a war crime under international humanitarian law.
