Yesterday at the House Transportation Finance and Policy committee, a bill on autonomous vehicles (pushed by @waymo.bsky.social lobbyists) was heard in the House Transportation committee. We testified against it, and it did not pass!

Saint Paul schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for optional online learning.
I’ve seen schools close for snow, for pandemic, for natural disaster. I’ve never seen schools close because of threat from our own government.
The amount of organizing happening in a VERY short period of time is truly mind boggling.
I've seen things come together in hours that, in the nonprofit & education spaces, would take weeks or MONTHS of planning and coordination.
So, so proud of the Twin Cities right now.

Minnetonka is considering adding a protected bike lane on Cedar Lake Road, but the project engineers have recommended against it due to the $160k price tag.
