To be fair quite a few non residents seem to make that mistake, same with Sydney and Australia. I was surprised how small Wellington felt in comparison to Auckland.

It does feel like there is strong social pressure to remove body hair, both male and female. I've heard people say that showing pubic hair is more sexual, which seems a little odd to me. Saying that we have commented that we've seen more pubic hair on European beaches in the last couple of years.

Well that was annoying, I decided to play golf today instead of yesterday. So cold with spits of rain instead of sunshine. The first 6 holes played well under my handicap "is this going to be a good day?". Three awful holes then just about hung in for the rest of the round. Such a frustrating game.

Pretty sunny today where I live, so I managed to spend a few hours working in the garden naked. Say it quietly, hints of spring on its way.

Sometimes it just goes like that, but you got there in the end 👍

The sports centre where I used to live used to have 2 or 3 naturist evenings a year. I really miss playing sports like badminton, squash and basketball naked. Rock climbing was a challenge. Trampolining was more of a spectator sport 🤣🤣
I'd love to find an event like that again or naturist golf.

I suspect that most people above a certain age do, it was drummed into us as kids along with always carrying a coin to use a payphone. I can remember our original 4 digit number as well as the extended number for calling from local exchanges.

The effects in northern Europe could be enormous, the gulf stream brings so much warmth for land and ocean as well as nutrients for sea life.

Can you imagine the storm any US law enforcement would face if they investigated and charged your president or members of his inner circle? Perhaps that's the real difference, our media and members of the establishment have abandoned him rather than attacking the police.

In fairness the rich and members of the establishment in the UK are rarely held to account. For example the Covid enquiry highlighted appalling behaviour and corruption but there is no sign of any charges. There must be compelling evidence for them to charge him. 1/2

In fairness I've had guys approach me on the beach at Maspalomas, no issue when I've politely told them I'm not interested.

We've had women ask if they can lay near us as they'd feel more comfortable. Both women on their own and two together. Not when I've been on my own though.
