Professor Matthew Sommer, Director of lSCLH, has been named the co-winner of the 2025 John Boswell Prize for his groundbreaking book, The Fox Spirit, the Stone Maiden, and Other Transgender Histories from Late lmperial China (Columbia University Press,2024).
