I finally saw Hoppers and it was SO good, I honestly think itβs one of the best things Pixar has made in yearsss
Hell yeahhhhhh, CONGRATS!!! May we all someday also make it to the finish line :)
I finally animated my freelance logo! Lately I'm trying to lean more into motion design work, so I've been working on beefing up my logo animation portfolio and having a lot of fun doing it π

Hey.
Tell people when they do good job.
When you like the stuff they make.
When you like the characters theyβve created.
The stories theyβve told.
Nobody hears it as often as you think bc everyone thinks everyone hears it all the time.
Trust. They donβt.
Tell. Them.
A nighttime scene. A the center is a black and white tabby cat with bright green eyes. They are standing on a narrow stump with leaves at the bottom. The cat is surrounded by a number of glowing goldfish.
My birthday landed on a Caturday! Its a little funny. Anyhow I need to be more online, Itβs too hard to stay inspired alone. You canβt only draw for work.
Thank you for the support everyone. This year there will be *new* art to look forward to.
(Beartato and Reginald, in a museum, gaze upon the Mona Lisa) BEARTATO: There it is. The Mona Lisa. The most famous painting in history. REGINALD: Wow! What's it do? BEARTATO: It... what? REGINALD: Why's it famous? What's it do? (Beartato thinks.) BEARTATO: I don't know. REGINALD (to nearly museum employee): Excuse me! Sir? What's it do? EMPLOYEE: You're the first person to ask! Watch this! (The employee yanks a pull-string. Mona Lisa's eyes spin around and her mouth opens like a puppet) MONA LISA: Honk honk! Honk honk! (Everyone is delighted. This is true art.)

Me interacting with what is definitely an "aye eye" and it drew me a wonderful birb
I love this site so much youraislopbores.me
Thank you! Youβre in for a beautiful journey :)
You really have soooo many wild work and life stories lol
In a lot of ways, assuming the most pessimistic outcome and then acting as if itβs a foregone conclusion helps make it a reality!
And like, I 100% get why most people are cynical doomers these days. But if nobody believes a better world is possible, theyβre MUCH less likely to help make one happen.
I just finished a big batch of thumbnails, I feel this π Thinking and working out scenes is harddddd
ughhhhh. Iβll never understand why so many people are incapable of minding their own business about things that donβt impact them even a little bit π
oh no, what happened?
An image promoting the webcomic True Colors. In it, we see a close-up of Eloise Trueman, an elderly Caucasian woman with wrinkles, freckles, and grey hair in a tight bun and the CEO of TrueCorp. The close-up centers around her eye, which bulges furiously and reflects a strange multicolored energy. Her pupils are tiny with rage as a vein pulses on her temple. The text reads "True Colors Update 3-70: Sonia's Promise, https://www.trueniverse.com/truecolors/3-70.html"
True Colors Update! 3-70: Sonia's Promise
Sonia ends her interview, but hasn't heard the last of it.

Iro and Sonia are pretty average. Kitβs aro/ace and gets her energy out other ways. Ben is the horniest main character, partly because heβs fairly straight male anime protagonist coded.
The highest in the entire comic is Zach, who is a hypersexual fuckboi with poor impulse control. Dorian too!

If you have the means, please donate to the Trans Continental Pipeline right now. They are a Colorado based org that helps trans people relocate and they are overwhelmed with requests. Colorado borders Kansas, and TCP has the infrastructure to help get people out.

This is what I need cis folks to understand.
It's been a decade.
Imagine living TEN FUCKING YEARS watching as a blatant, artificial campaign to erase your personhood, your identity and your safety chugs along, increasing in power every single day, and most people don't care or dismiss it

Since everyone is (sigh) debating if writers benefit from reading books, I dissected a passage shared as βevidenceβ that non-readers can write great prose: countercraft.substack.com/p/what-not-r...
Yeahhhhh. Itβs hard not to read this as anything but an attempt at generating buzz in a really, really shitty way, and unfortunately it worked :/
