that sample sounded really good !
Interesting mixtape beyond the circular visual...I did like the singer in the John Renbourne Group - Maid on the Shore
there are so many odd off label albums in thrift stores and I can imagine small run copies of cassettes too. I'm not religious, but they sure have that DIY sound going that catches my attention !
I agree excellent comp.
since you are interested in that genre niche of sound I posted one on my page today.

This might be of interest to a rare few on here.
I'm searching mostly outsider music. It's a difficult niche search and no real guideposts. I'd really like to know of others on here that have an interest beyond the usual suspects.

very odd frog ! Never been to an estate sale. This site is pretty wild for how many sales it showed and the pics of items . Took me on quite an afternoon scroll.
I recently heard Mar-Tie . The kind of sound that always motivates me to search more !
wow the only reference on here to Lennon Beasley when I did a search today.
impressive stuff as I was listening to the music and checking the lists. I don't see those kinds of lists very often. In some ways we have very similar tastes !
Found this doing a search of Crazy Joe And the Variable Speed Band
Would like to chat more with you and share music.
I really like that wall of vintage images. It would be great to see it all. Wondering what calendar that is ?
Erika Stucky - Cry Baby is my pick of the show !
Vocal Fry has been sharing vocals w/something extra for 10 years - the anniversary is next week. We'll dig back into favorite artists, songs & styles. Who's your fave VF artist? Check the Vocal Fry List for a refresher.
What is the definition of noise?
When does music cross over into noise?
Is dissonance enough?
I cut samples of various badly played instruments and juxtapose them with no regard to harmony. Is that noise?
Or does it have to be the traditional wall of sound?
just listened to it. Definitely done in that Fyodor way , so much more listenable than the original.
not much into covers, but really nice seeing a Fyodor reference on my feed today !
Been listening/searching a lot of this area of names associated to Little Fyodor lately and beyond.
just happened to find your playlist doing a bsky search of the bandcamp.com domain. It happened to be near the top of the search. Thank you for sharing yours.
Bandcamp really needs a dedicated playlist area where I can search for songs in a playlist to see if it is somewhat in my music tastes.
sounds like the stuff I have been searching for lately.

Been listening to that group for a few years. has that WFMU quirky style to it .
good intro into a few of the outsiders.
I know I have one of those issues somewhere in a box. I'd get carried away when going to the zine fairs between 2008 - 2013.
