America is in the phase right now where MAGA is trying to secure their grip on the military and the rest of the nation without creating so much backlash that they lose the grip.
The rest of America is trying to prepare for the worst when it comes, and hoping MAGA makes a fatal overreach.
Revolution is something that's most likely going to happen in the future, but it should be a tool of last resort more than first resort.
And it's not something that should be done without massive preparation, including gathering support for the revolution and weakening support for the authoritarians
Assassination is a bad idea for a variety of reasons, which I'm sure you know, which is why you joked about it, but just to state one of the reasons for the record:
If Trump were assassinated, that would only turn him into a martyr, one which would be less problematic for MAGA than live Trump is.
I agree that he should be impeached, if only to try to waste some of his and other Republicans' time.
BUT the entire Republican party backed him on the last two impeachments, so I doubt much would be different this time.
