Ahh, nothing like needing to upload a 10 GB video cause the area in game I recorded has a permanent rain effect over everything lol.

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass's console port is out now and boy howdy should anyone who likes RPGs play it. Basically cannot stress enough how good and fun and creative it is when you start getting into the nitty gritty of its story and gameplay.

Playing an utter shit post of an RPG Maker game right now and it's pretty fun to just vibe in what it's doing, even if on a technical level it isn't super impressive. Just an entertaining aura that permeates through the whole game.
Of all the RPGs I was expecting Kingdoms of the Dump to play similar to, Radiant Historia was not on the short list, but I am very glad it is.
Ah, clearly you own an air fryer now.
Nice.
Battle system is mostly the same, if anything improves it over CSH it's that you don't spend the first 5 hours of the game with 1-2 person parties against 5 enemy mobs so you have terrible action economy.
Story of This Way Madness Lies is just a non-serious comedy, so don't expect much from it.
Etrian Odyssey dungeon gameplay footage
oh yeah, I love first person "extraction" games too
So about 1.5 to 2 hours before my brain turns to mush, got it.
Oh this boss is gonna mentally exhaust me so quickly.
Only took me 213 hours but I have finally accomplished 100% item collection in Distorted Travesty 4. What a wonderful and nightmarish game.
Now I just gotta do the final boss grinds and who knows how many tens of hours that will take.
Multiple tester's controllers have had buttons (L1 button specifically) broken while playing the DT4 end-game content. I think the game is right on track to being amazing, then.
Oh yeah, the two main annoyances are with word changing/segmenting ones which are definitely fairly easy compared to Only Connect, and pop culture ones which kill anyone who doesn't keep up on pop culture in the US lol.
Welp, my schedule for the next month has been completely cleared up now.
Just finished Princess Peach: Showtime!, and it really is funny how much Nintendo games like to just say hey, what if we added a fuck ton of new collectables for you to find by replaying every level in the game a second time!
And by funny, I mean it's kinda tiring.
Lyle in Cube Sector, dang. That is definitely a deep cut.
Kind of a stretch, but I'll throw Crystal Towers 2 in here. It's not exactly a traditional Metroidvania but you do unlock access to new stages by learning new spells that let you interact with the environment or give new mobility options.
The unholy scream of pure delight I made when I got to see An Untitled Story again after over a decade. Foundational game from my childhood. Will hyperfixate on it for the next 7 years if I need to.
This is the biggest betrayal in gaming history. π¨
Ahh, I didn't realize I would be able to start beating OFF again so soon. I thought it was later this month.
will this get me in trouble

I certainly will never have enough of them, I always want more.
Sure is funny to watch someone who is heavily offline play Undertale for the first time, unspoiled, in the year 2025.
Dem establishment donβt be racist to Muslims - challenge impossible
I feel like the "smoothening" of game design over the past decade or so has changed the way many players interact with the art form for the worse.
Friction often serves a purpose.
If something feels unsatisfying, why? Does that feeling contribute to the meaning of what you're experiencing?
A list of the top sellers on Steam are during the 2025 Summer Sale. Most games are ignored, except for PEAK and Clair Obscur due to it being in my library. Among the ignored are Dead by Daylight, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Dune Awakening, and Baldur's Gate 3.
Wondering if Steam will understand me someday.
Really should remember to play the tragic yaoi RPG Maker game more. It's pretty fun, minor graphical issues aside.
Might need to push up that game sooner on my "to play" list in that case, cause it's everything I want out of more RPGs lol.
