Have flu. Can’t write. But these two are keeping me company. The ginger is Furi and the tabby is Jin.
When we rescued them 9yrs ago as kittens they were not well. Taken too young from the mother, stomachs destroyed by the wrong food. But these two are fighters!

About 3-4 times a year a group of us meet up in Sweden/Online for a writing retreat. We are from everywhere so are called 'Writers From Distant Lands'. I love these people! They are so creative and inspiring and I always feel motivated afterwards.
We met yesterday and I wrote about 4000 words!

I've been dealing with health issues recently. I have #endometriosis which causes pain, exhaustion and brain fog.
I’ve had a bad few days and it feels shit not to write. But I want to use this challenge to find strategies to be productive even during the bad days.

Especially the second one. I'm constantly fighting the urge to go back and edit what I've just written.
I'm usually very bad at having a routine. I'm a binge writer who writes when the moment hits me. But for #NovelNovember I'm going to challenge myself to:
1. Write something every day.
2. Not re-read and edit as I go.
3. Finish a messy, would never show to anyone first draft of my novel.
Joining #NovelNovember this month means a lot to me. It's been a tricky year, I've had major health issues since April and there was a time I thought I would never be well enough to do anything, let alone write again. But I'm FINALLY feeling better and ready to tackle this!
