Three photos from Seedlings IV: Winter
Beyond grateful to Will J. Wood and Corran Green for their time, energy, and talents put into issue IV of Seedlings. My poem "A Thousand Leaves Between Us" is beautifully printed alongside "November Burning" by Sarah Humby. www.seedlings.studio/shop
Consider backing a very cool magazine!!
“Animals” by Maggie Smith
In @whaleroadreview.bsky.social I published "Icon/Graph" a poem about writing and meaning-making. I'm not sure it qualifies as speculative, but if you think it does, it is also eligible for the Rhysling (Short Poem)

Welcome to our Winter 2024 issue! This marks the 9-year anniversary of Whale Road Review, and publishing the fantastic work in this issue on a Friday the 13th feels like a scarily good way to celebrate!

#Ranger Mag just dropped another double issue (#8 and #9). As usual, it's jam packed with the best experimental poetry, art and music of the international avant garde. Check it out!

My poems "An Anecdote for $5 and a Bottle of Water" and "Sex is Water" were published in issue 8 of #Ranger. You can find issue 8 here: www.rangermagazine.net/issue8. Really happy to have a home for these two works.
“High in the Mountains, I Fail to Find the Wise Man” by Li Po (translated by David Young)
“Passing the Temple of Accumulated Fragrance” by Wang Wei (translated by David Young)
In regards to when "Florida Man" becomes a local celebrity, I'm oddly proud of the lore my students built for Lieutenant Dan during Hurricane Milton
Marry: Oxford comma so I can quit my job
Fuck: Em-dash to cuddle afterwards and thank it for its vital role in English-language haiku
Kill: Semicolon. Unnecessary. There's always something else you can use.
So many brilliant, moving poems in Ruth Awad’s “Outside The Joy.” Lately, I keep coming back to this one.
Wanted: Fiction Editor
Apparently, it’s really hard to be both Executive Editor and Fiction Editor at a growing literary journal (@mgliterary.bsky.social).
Please help. Contact us via MoonLit Getaway’s website for details. #WritingCommunity #5amWritersClub
Happy to see this poem in my inbox today. Really enjoyed Denise Duhamel's book, and this one was my favorite after my first reading.
Only recently came across James Holden’s music. This one is mesmerizing.
