Yesterday I read an article about information being made available on the Blockchain, so it can never be deleted (it was classified info currently on wikileaks). As open research folk, do we need to engage with what blockchains might mean for making info/data permanently available for free?

I helped to organise an ALN event this morning on how HE libraries can support asylum seeker and refugee communities. We heard about so many amazing resources and services that University of Leeds, Lancaster University and University of Chester Libraries have been providing. It was very inspiring! ❀️

Then we heard from Sarah Bishop about their project which aimed to highlight racist tropes & to encourage people to consider what it means to be anti-racist. Sarah has produced an anti racist toolkit in collaboration with Marsha Garratt and this will be released in the new year.
