Ok so I’m going to put my neck out here and say that the GLP 1 inhibitors are amazing.. I’m a sports doc, lifestyle med lead, psych and GP - I love exercise and good nutrition but for pretty much everyone I’ve supported on this journey the medication has been life changing.

Completely this! Reducing and stopping medication is such a great part of our job!

Cervical Cancer Mortality Among US Women Younger Than 25 Years This study examines trends in cervical cancer mortality in US women aged younger than 25 years before and after the introduction of human papillomavirus vaccines.

The HPV vaccine has been recommended in the US since 2006. New study out today shows that cervical cancer deaths in young women in the years that followed have plummeted, decreasing 15% per year from 2013-2015.

Great talk by @lawrennd.bsky.social on AI - interesting to hear his take on the need to ask people on the coal face what they need from AI. Leaves me questioning what AI could do to help me? Scaling up health care but keeping it individualised and personal … while keeping up staff morale? Off you go

Great to hear Tim Spector talk at the Cambridge Literary Festival. Not rocket science but always wonder why his research surprises people. Eating less processed food and more diverse plants = better health. Reflecting on my 99 year old grandmother eating grapefruit before each meal. Like she knew!
