I realize the point is monetizing data accumulation and pre-emptively bending to the will of surveillance states, but a lot of discord accounts are old enough to not really need age verification.

Like I've had discord since 2017, which means I'm a minimum of 22 years old by their internal logic.

Getting this video and reading this comment seems to indicate that YouTube knows both my viewing preferences and my sense of humor pretty well.

Lately, the main difference between doomposting and posting about the extant doom floating around is what we're meant to do about it.

It's one thing to advocate for maintaining one's mental health and resiliency to fight the long fight. It's another to suggest we just communally ignore the doom.

I'm always a bit wary of anti-doomposting stuff because there's 'doomposting' and then there's 'accurately identifying the state of the world' and folks tend to conflate those two things.
