Quick questions for TTRPG publishers that I’ve asked privately but it’s been a bit:
1. If a form of coverage (AP/review/other) has transformed your sales overnight, what was it?
2. If you could wave a wand & have one creator/creative/media outlet praise or play your TTRPG, what would you wish for?
Two white nationalists I exposed in a recent article showed up to try to intimidate me in person last night.
This is a press freedom issue.
Here’s what happened:
In a bonus episode of Between Two Cairns, @bradkerr.net, @betterlegends.bsky.social and I talk about the tools we use to make stuff! All are linked in the post. This is only for patrons for now, but will appear in the public feed some time in the future.

Not ttrpg related but mourning the passing of a real one. I was once asked which 3 people in InfoSec I admired most. Felix was one.

Does anyone know of a paid version of the When We Were Wizards podcast?
These ads are not a good experience. They appear in the middle of people talking without warning and ruin the experience.
If they setup a web shop with a single season payment I would be so happy.

The ENTIRE🥇Designing Dungeons Course🥇is available on the podcast.
And it sounds GREAT - thanks to the dulcet tones of our reader Jon @3d6downtheline.com
The PCs rot in a labor camp for public mischief and chasing the mayor's dog. The only food comes from Max, a wolf-pelted hunter. Last night his tent exploded in branches and he vanished. A red boat waits by the river. Rumors say it leads to a land of beasts. Supper lies Where The Wild Things Are.
Your commitment to the public domain/open source mindset in your ttrpg work continues to inspire/remind me that its the right thing to do. I like seeing how the philosophy manifests for different creators like Sly Flourish's insistence on offline copies as the only real form of digital ownership.
I've released the text of the Cairn Press Creator Agreement as CC-BY-SA 4.0. Obviously you should do what I did and pay a lawyer before using it! But I hope it helps others.

Nice review of Trouble in Twin Lakes by Bread Wizard:

This was a pivotal game for me. Before I even knew what D&D was I played this at my LGS one afternoon between rounds of an MTG tournament. I was enthralled and couldn't stop thinking about it for years after but the guy who brought it never showed up again and I didn't know what it was called.
Cairn: Barebones Edition is available in Hardback, Perfect Bound, Stapled, and Coilbound from Lulu!

A tarot reader who divines the pivotal choices your ancestors made and the realities that would have unfolded if they chose differently. And possibly how to return to that path?
Today on Between Two Cairns, @bradkerr.net, @betterlegends.bsky.social and I review On The Hill by M. Allen Hall, and answer a mootsack question.
