They definitely feel more like comedic padding while toriyama was comming up with Goku’s spaceship Zenkai boost shit tbh. I love how silly they are but even in the manga its kinda like “okaaay lets just get to goku being healed and fighting freiza alreadyyy”

My deadname was pretty feminine so for a long time i thought picking my own name was unearned for some reason. Invalidating my own distress hurt a lot. Strixx was unique and the name of an old OC that I really loved and I just knew it would help me feel whole to finally have that choice.
