DOE Cancellation of Clean Energy Projects is Job-Killing Action that Hurts Consumers, CAP’s Mike Williams Says Washington, D.C. – Today, the Trump administration announced the cancellation of $3.7 billion in awards for emerging energy technologies issued during the previous administration. Many of these projects involved investments in industrial and manufacturing facilities to limit carbon emissions contributing to pollution and climate change. In response, Mike Williams, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, issued the following comments: "How can the administration claim to care about domestic manufacturing when it is gutting investments in the future of domestic manufacturing? These projects are not just reducing pollution, they are keeping the U.S. on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology. Canceling these important projects will raise energy prices for consumers and sacrifice thousands of high-quality union jobs, all because the president wants to curry favor with Big Oil.

I've been working on the ERA for 13 years & literally wrote a book about it.

So, let me help answer some questions.

1) Yes, it really is a real amendment & fully part of the U.S. Constitution. Full stop.

On this day over 100 years ago. the Equal Rights Amendment was introduced to Congress. It is still not in our Constitution.
