Sharing some WIP footage of Chunk for #screenshotsatuday I finally wrapped up the block out for our VS, now on to smashing out a bunch of art!

I've got those settings off and any others I thought could be messing with it. I've tried different meshes but still get the same thing.

I'm using point/spot lights but wanting to use these as fill lights to add a bit more jazz and colour to scenes.

Any #unrealengine lighting wizards around?

I'm using a hidden emissive mesh to do a bit of lighting but I get these artifacts, they kind of look like DFAO but aren't. Any tips? I imagine I've missed an easy step.

Any #unrealengine wizards know if there are shortcuts for these tools? Being able to extrude by holding down shift and dragging like in Maya would be great.

Is there a way to insert edge based on a grid size?

Any other tips to speed things up and not have to keep clicking buttons?

Our biggest wishlist spikes were when we launched and when the game was featured.

Those numbers are good, you should hit 40k by launch easy.

Everything you've responded makes sense. Are there other story heavy trailers you've seen that go viral? Specifically for a new IP?

But I guess if the main goal was for existing fans, then it probably achieved its goal.

People that have already bought in to the game and not geared towards hooking in new people (which might have been the plan?)

How are your wishlists looking? Is it continuing to grow? Getting front page on launch is really the goal.

I wonder if not being in English is a limiting factor too? I wonder if there is a similar indie that did two languages to compare stats to?

Where did you post it to? I didn't see it pop up here, but I'm not the most active.

I think the unfortunate thing is that it takes about 26 seconds to get to gameplay and most people on the internet aren't going to give you that much time to hook them.

After upgrading to 5.6 in UE5, meshes created in engine no longer have collision turned on by default (Complex). Anyone know if there is a checkbox or something I need to hit to get it to turn collision on on creation?

Not a big issue, just odd it added an extra step.

Been trying to add some more interesting combo attacks to CHUNK, man is it hard to make something that doesn't completely suck.

Anyone have any tips for coming up with cool attack ideas? I often find myself trying and throwing away the same ideas over and over.

Alright, Maya indie hitting $550 a year has made me try out Blender again. Anyone have good recommendations for Maya to Blender tutes, any plug ins to make the UV editor not suck etc.

Last year I painted this piece of key art even though at that point the game was mostly just some ideas in a document. It's cool to get those ideas into something presentable you can show to people early.
