About time we get some respect
The ball Sandy Alcantara threw to Tim Elko went over the fence for a game-winning homer. Then it became the best Motherโs Day gift Elko has ever given.
On the freshly promoted Elkoโs first big league hit, for the @chicago.suntimes.com: chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/20...
How bad is the field? Can you slip someone a $20 to get them to call the game?
Josh Rojas is finally back from that toe injury, and as so often happens in this silly sport, the ball found him immediately, a first-pitch grounder hit his way. He made the play and expects to make plenty all over the Sox' infield.

Happy to be back at the ballpark this weekend. Be sure to read my Sox coverage in the @chicago.suntimes.com.
On Garrett Crochetโs return to the South Side mound and the reminder he provided of what kind of pitcher the Sox traded away, for the @chicago.suntimes.com chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/20...

The world--THE WORLD--demands answers on the Brandon Drury-White Sox situation and here are some fairly general answers to it, among a lot of other stuff.

A pie chart showing the breakdown of Illinois pro sport specialty plates on cars registered in Chicago. The data are as follows: White Sox - 8,219 Blackhawks - 2,234 Cubs - 2,203 Bears - 1,808 Bulls - 1,233 Cardinals - 53
Illinois offers six pro sport specialty plates, and there are 15,750 cars registered in Chicago bearing one.
Over half are White Sox plates, which I interpret as more of a South Side pride thing than a White Sox fandom thing. There are 53 brave souls driving around with St. Louis Cardinals plates.
The White Sox have yet to name a starter for the March 27 season opener against the Angels.

Are the logos making out? Will we have a baby White Sox logo in 9 months?
Wild that Cyber Trucks are trash, SpaceX rockets are exploding all over, and X is a broken shit heap. Wonder if thereโs anything in common.
The new look Bears OL is taking shape:
LT: Braxton Jones
LG: Joe Thuney
C: Drew Dalman
RG: Jonah Jackson
RT: Darnell Wright
On paper, already much better than last season.
The Bears are signing Drew Dalman.
They don't have a photo of sexy Rexy?
I asked White Sox farm director Paul Janish some questions I had about Grant Taylor, Colson Montgomery, Jacob Gonzalez and a few other prospects I was curious about.
I did this for me. But you can read it too, I guess.

The White Sox played a baseball game and @soxmachine.com has observations from it, like watching the reliever with probably the most electric stuff in the bullpen leaving with a concerning injury.

What are the chances there are any teams willing to trade a lottery ticket for Vaughn?
Tweet from Chicago White Sox announcing Joey Gallo signing
By signing Bobby Dalbec and Joey Gallo, the White Sox really want to test Andrew Vaughn this spring.
The White Sox signing Joey Gallo as an NRI while I was running only enhances the thesis of this piece IMO*
*such an interpretation enables me to avoid doing more work.
