Indie dev is really special in that way, you have to grow and understand so many different disciplines throughout the process, and you get this living environment that does things you don’t expect and gives back to you
With the life and times of King Sisyphus concluded, I think I can finally take a break from ULTRAKILL and get back to work LOL. There are still so many thoughts and notes I have to consolidate, but overall I am left filled with awe and newfound inspiration
I beat MINOS PRIME yesterday! His movement is so much fun, seeing the windup of each attack instantly jump to the completed arc of motion really makes you feel like you’re fighting a manga character. You parry his projectile and before the flash ends his fist is INCHES away from your face

Sorry, I try not to just gush how awesome the game I'm in is. But holy fuck. I always say I truly believe ULTRAKILL will go down as one of the greatest games of all time, and each layer only convinces me further. I am not WORTHY to be part of this, but I will die trying.

8-2 THROUGH THE MIRROR is a level I am going to remember for a long, long time. The way it drip feeds you the information you need to build an understanding of the two connecting spaces is masterful. It’s just begging you to use that knowledge to try to get somewhere you’re not supposed to get

Played the first level of FRAUD three times tonight. Refused to go to the next one. Needed time to take it all in. The first time experience was unforgettable, an absolute mind blowing thing happens like every 3 minutes. How did they make a game like this
