“Estou muito feliz aqui na Espanha. Meu passado não tem necessidade de voltar a pensar ou em falar nele, porque estou vivendo feliz e tranquilamente.”

“Estou vivendo aqui em Madri, eu amo a Espanha, tenho muita sorte por poder estar aqui. Estou vivendo feliz e tranquilamente. Eu amo as pessoas aqui, amo seus valores. As pessoas aqui são respeitosas, seus valores são diferentes. Estou apreciando muito estar aqui.” ❤️

Durante sua caminhada pelas ruas de Madri, Amber foi abordada pela repórter para uma pequena entrevista.

Amber was also the first American actress to be named Human Rights Champion of the UN Human Rights Office, lending her voice and support to promote the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted 70 years ago.

In the same year Amber also took a trip to Washington, D.C. to stand alongside victims and activists in protest against the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

In October 2018, she visited the United Nations in Geneva, where she addressed diplomats about women's rights and gender-based violence.

She is also an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and the rights of domestic violence victims. She’s often encouraging survivors to come forward and speak up.

Now as an adult, she uses her platform to raise awareness for LGBTQ+ rights, aid for Syrian refugees and the plight of migrants at the U.S border. She visited Syrian refugees living in camps in Jordan and has been volunteering for children's hospitals in LA for more than a decade.

Amber first donated to ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) still in high school when she learned about a student who was denied the ability to take their partner to the prom because of discrimination towards same-sex couples.

Amber Heard was born and raised in Texas, USA. Her family lived near the Mexican border, the unfairness and injustice surrounding the scenario where she lived helped spark her activism. At age 12, she began volunteering at a soup kitchen in Austin, Texas.
