Hertfordshire is complex because it’s southern districts are ‘north, north London’ while its northern boundary is almost rural East Anglia. Furthermore the towns along railway lines have inevitably become like dormitory towns for London commuters - with inevitable impact on house prices.

Heard what I thought was a helicopter overhead so pulled up flightradar and baffled as the sky was clear (apart from a small private fixed wing type thing not even reached me yet).

I’m slightly surprised by this “I never see a banknote” stuff. Maybe it’s a metropolitan elite thing, but (a) I use bank notes every week to pay Irene who walks my dog when I’m away, and Nikki who cleans and (b) I reckon about 1/4 of people in front of me in Lidl use notes.
Totally sideswiped by a somewhat complex case (as you do on a Friday) and as a result forgot I was supposed to be covering our advice line only realising around 19.45 as I was about to pack up to leave the office.
