i have no personal involvement here but i have been working on a theory as i observe discourse around marathon and all other live service shooters and it can be summed up as this: everyone just wants to play team deathmatch

An odd configuration of items.
1) the game covers are US ps1, as is the RE disc
2) that is a saturn-like controller but only has 3 face buttons/no shoulder buttons. It's chubby like the Capcom fightpad for ps3/360.
3) the console looks mostly like a saturn but has the eject button of a Panasonic M2.
