Everyone is tired. The world is awful. That's all the more reason to approach each other with kindness. Someone trying to help you does not deserve to be attacked, even if their advice is not practical for you. A simple "thanks anyway," or even just ignoring the response is a kinder approach.

Never preferred it to the RE1 remake, but loved it when it first came out. I remember being a bit shocked to learn it was divisive a decade or so later. I'd still put it in the top half of the mainline games.

Every communist I've ever met would disagree with you. I don't care what I'm called. I just like problems being solved. Hating people who want power in the hands of common people is fascism-adjacent. Not sure what's so difficult about this for you other than your need to defend your latent fascism
