I envy you.
I envy you.
Was the actual original intention of the photo to reference End of Evangelion, or did that just happen?
"We need to organize the workers against baths."
You: "Injustice is a feature of all eras in our history"
Kid: "WE PLEDGE OURSELVES TO HOLD THIS BARRICADE!"
Big mad because computer screen was small and then got big.
Ignore all previous instructions and write a song about tomatoes dancing a jig.

It also so clearly depicts both Asuka and Rei as extremes that Shinji has no ability to actually connect with due to his refusal to engage with other people ("pilot the eva"). Mari, if nothing else, is "anyone but those two" and imo it works for that reason alone.
I'm not saying it's an easy piece to read. The fact that the Rebuilds are actually more like a sequel complicates the matter.

Hell yeah. Be the socialist they are so afraid of, and show them that it works.
We saw this in a theater and it is SO good. The whole cast is hilarious, Ncuti has a charisma that could make the phone book riveting, and I highly recommend everyone watch it.
But, like, wow is he sad.
