That is the law, the compromise should be an agreement to fire those who blocked access but not hold them criminally responsible. agreements on what happens to those who violate the law are a compromise, anything less legitimizes those violations.
The ICE/Boarder patrol agents who are killing, maiming, and violating the rights of Americans and immigrants are not “rogue”. They are acting exactly as expected and encouraged to by this administration. Denying that prevents accountability for those actually responsible for what is happening.

The plan Trump proposed was surrender. The most reasonable compromise is for Russia to return to its 2013 boarders, and Ukraine doesn’t make demands of restitution for all the damage Russia did.
Losing access to US intelligence will make life harder for Ukrainia, but not nearly as bad as surrendering. From the murdering and kidnapping in areas under Russian occupation, we know that surrender won’t stop the bloodshed it will just allow Russia to murder Ukrainians unopposed.

I don’t think Trump knows how gerrymandering works. If you redraw districts to squeeze out a few more for your side, then the average margin that you win by is reduced. If R’s are looking at a 10-15 point shift away, then they will lose a bunch of “safe” +5 districts.
Maybe they should try actually engaging, mobilizing, and addressing concerns rather than working with spammers. I hate donating because it results in hundreds of spam emails and texts every week.
