An access rider is a document that details your access needs.
Access riders are used by disabled artists to ensure that their access needs are met so they can do their job.
Conversations about access can be difficult & some people struggle to communicate their needs fully.

I’m having one of those days where every time I write, the #assistedtech just auto corrects my words and I’m loosing energy to edit.
Wondering if it’s because loads of this #disability aided #tech was made by non-disabled folks who even with best intentions, didn’t add in our dictionaries or needs.
This cat called Tia came over to me yesterday and said
“You have a right to experience joy & feel safe in your life.”
Then asked me to gift her food whilst her human wasn’t looking.
Maybe clearing these physical things will help clear my mind junk?
Cos the biggest reason why re-doing the website is a lot of my past art is tied to some really vulnerable experiences.
I’ll always have junk - physical and emotional but now I know how to trust my guts on what to do with it.
It was nice finding notes and cards from artists and old colleagues over the years from putting on events, touring and other jobs I’ve had.
Ticket stubs, wrist bands, badges and other things I just can’t part with.
It’s why tidy up tasks take longer.
Declutter is not just physical - it’s
this addition of memories unlocking, side quests and before you know it the room is a chaotic installation.
Inside this is loss of time, random accidents, dust allergies and remembering all the people I used to be.
Holding on to random notes and things is a very adhd thing.
I have piles of stuff that acts like a memory, sometimes in my body/brain I forget these things exist but as soon as I hold the item *KABOOMY* memory unlocks.
Some are easy to discard… others hold a power over me, emotionally twisting!
Ive been doing some clearing up.
Mikey added “Do Website notes” with my favourite big yellow post it note.
I have not done my website.
X12 plus bags more after this photo, the cathartic clearing old lives made me realise a lot about a visual metaphor…

So his bright light left his almost 14 year old body and whooshed up past his parents away on the sunbeams.
“Come join us” They said. “We see you are very tired and you have done all you can in this realm. Remember, you will always be loved. It’s time to rest now, so close your eyes now dear friend and come with us”
He heard the bells & songs drifting on the breeze, the parade had come for Pendleton’s spirit.
