Nothing to see here. Just a proper fanart with the two cephaloids since I was proud enough with the Pearl one. Getting a little invested in drawing them. No thanks to the Side Order I had since... 8 months ago. Left me a bad (-ly amazing) taste in my mouth that lasted for months. Also, because I was in such a Spiderman mood lately and remembered how sleek characters like Venom looked with the black and blue highlights (particularly from the '94 animated series, it was amazing watching that as a kid btw), I wanted to try out that type of shading and see how it would look on Marina's tentacles. Not the first time I've done that btw. And because of that shading alone, it was guaranteed that I would have to go for a comic-like approach instead. Just feels apropriate. Like usual, the background was always a challenge to work on. The lineart was alright since their performance stage was actually quite easy to draw surprisingly. It's moreso about the given colour pallete that I went with. Setting different levels of one colour just to fill in certain details still ain't easy. That being said, I don't think I would be able to put out a Halloween artwork this year unfortunately (then again, that Decap one fits the bill well enough). I'll be off for a mountain trip with my family tomorrow, so you know, two days of hiatus are inevitable. Enjoy... um... reading the text on the sides! See what they have to say!
