Well deserved honor for Nick Boyd
Nick Boyd is an All-Big Ten second-team honoree.
Illinois' Keaton Wagler, Iowa's Bennett Stirtz, and Michigan State's Jeremy Fears are the three guards selected first team all-conference. #Badgers
Those will certainly eat into some of the cap space. But they didnt need to open the money now to do those
As many others have pointed out, it feels like the Packers are up to something. They've freed up quite a bit of cap space that they didnt need to do if they weren't going to spend it. Now we wait and see what they do with that space
The Nate Hobbs signing was a big swing & miss by the front office. That era comes to an end
I've seen conflicting things on if St-Juste offsets the Enagbare comp pick(I think it does?) so I agree that makes Woolen less likely. But I could still see it if he takes a deal in the 5th round comp range to offset Quay. I think they want to hold onto the 3rd/4th comp picks they are set to get
Yea Woolen seems like a good fit. Probably just comes down to price. I'm guessing they don't want to offset one of their better comp picks for him. But if they signed him it'll be easy to see why
St. Juste is noticeably bigger than the other CBs on the Packers roster. Curious if size is something Gannon/Babich will be looking for when it comes to other potential additions to that room
-Marquette upsets #4 Uconn & Wisconsin upsets #15 Purdue
-The Packers trade for Zaire Franklin, deal Rashan Gary to the Cowboys, re-sign Sean Rhyan, & more
-The Bucks continue to struggle
-Team USA is off to a hot start in the WBC
Hope you enjoy!

Yep
Also brings a decent amount of ST experience
St. Juste is an interesting signing. Had been pretty bad until last year where he took a big step up for the Chargers, albeit in a part time role. I dont believe he's an automatic day 1 starter

It's nice to be rooting for Paul Skenes for once
Looks like the Quay deal will bring back a projected 5th round comp pick for Green Bay in 2027. Was hoping for a 4th there
The Raiders are signing former Packers LB Quay Walker, sources tell me and @rapsheet.bsky.social
Kyle McCarthy and Todd France of Athletes First negotiated the deal.
No shock here. It didnt take rocket science to know this was coming, several of us predicted this over a year ago. Elgton was really good for a few years but his play had fallen off the last couple of seasons
Man all of a sudden the Sean Rhyan deal looks pretty darn good
Holy shit. Consider the center market completely blown up
The Cade Mays deal is interesting in comparison to Rhyan. Both were thought of fairly similarly heading into FA. Mays got a lower AAV but more guarenteed $ than Rhyan
I really liked Oliver coming out of the draft. You dont want to play him on run downs but he can get after the QB on pass rush downs
I might be alone in this but I don't think Edge rusher is a huge need for Green Bay. They were always going to expect LVN, Sorrell, & Oliver to take jumps this season. Maybe they add a depth guy in FA or the Draft but I don't think they use a big resource to do so
Seeing most projections have the Malik deal as a 4th round comp pick. A bummer for Green Bay. The $22.5 AAV ended up coming in considerably lower than what most thought Malik would get
Thought Green Bay might bring Enagbare back but I didn't think he'd get this much. Thats a healthy deal for Enagbare
That Malik deal seems to be right on the borderline for a 3rd or 4th round comp pick
Malik playing in Lambeau this year
Christian Watson is going to get PAID
Maybe but I think thats less likely. They'd really have to like someone to be willing to throw away a free 3rd or 4th round pick
With a bunch of expected 2027 mid round comp picks coming and now a 2027 4th pick for Gary. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gute uses some of that 2027 draft capital to move up in the 2026 draft
