yeah i think it's pretty unlikely, but different people feel different ways about their writing. i could be wrong of course, but this is just what came to mind.

my guess is lack of creative control if you don't speak the target language? not to assume the worst of people, but the translator could add in parts that weren't in the original or make the characters say terrible things, and you wouldn't know.
