If we kill innocent people with impunity, some of the family members of the people we kill will want to kill us back. And that's how cycles of violence go on for generations.
That's why the obligation to stop the violence always rests on the folks with the bigger guns.

It's definitely not the Americans struggling to pay an extra $1.5 billion at the pump this week.
During negotiations you can't suddenly bomb the shit out of a place, assassinate their spiritual & political leader, kill thousands, taunt a nation & expect them to meekly give you their oil & trust you in new negotiations.
I think the best case scenario would involve handing Trump over to Iran. I believe they are better suited to deal out the type of punishment he deserves.

people are aware that america isn't even really a democracy, right?
its a republic. we "elect" a handful of representatives, and those rich, corrupt individuals make all of our decisions for us
we don't vote on anything meaningful, only what they allow us to. that's not a democratic government.
Just as Putin faces internal challenges because of the costs of the Ukraine war Trump steps in to save him by easing oil sanctions at the same time as Putin helps Iran target allied bases in the region. Trump is a traitor to everything the west has stood for.
