Local candidates were at Wales Green Party Conference 2025 on Saturday and Sunday. Area candidates that attended included Anthony Slaughter, Tessa Marshall, Angela Karadog and Paul Rock. Candidates spoke to organisations like @wwfcymru.bsky.social about inequality.

Vale of Glamorgan Council has greenlit a contract to bring in a new Aqua Park to the Cosmeston Lakes Nature Reserve this summer. The Lakes are home to amazing wildlife like water voles, great crested newts and starry stonewort all of which are protected species.
