2k is a lot of money. ASD assessment is around 2 hrs on the NHS (I waited that long anyway) but if you can manage to wait spend the 2k on some much needed treats and ongoing support for yourself. wish you luck xxx
I agree with Ro. it's fine to self identify and it's really tough to get support.
on the other hand a formal assessment could help you get access to work support (could take up to a year to get tho) and PIP which will probably give you a shot of PTSD because the DWP are bastards.
