Blow the final whistle, referee: Mousie wins today's internet.
@daveaxbey
Hi, my name's Dave Axbey. I'm mostly here to follow mini painting, palaeo, baseball, tabletop, indiepop & gunpla folks. This is my second go at Bluesky 'cos I was following FAR too many people with my first account! Like, just a ridiculous number. He/Him
Blow the final whistle, referee: Mousie wins today's internet.
Very much looking forward to this! Do you know if the books will be available in the UK, BTW?
Painting of a WW2 motor torpedo boat, with a coastline and the moon in the background.
The cover image for Torpedoes and Tides is finished (painted with acryclics by Andrea Sfiligoi). The layout is also complete. It's a big book, more than 130 pages full of rules, scenarios, a campaign system and over 160 unit profiles. Soon to be available in pdf and book form! #torpedoesandtides

The Hen and Rooster tankheads were pinnacles of Neverwar era Alliance engineering. A batteryβs worth of artillery and an infantry fighting vehicle capable of deploying four egg tankettes ideal for urban combat. Despite their size both maintained good mobility in the field.
It's pretty cool except for the goldfish, who are getting uppity.
You know who I'm not going to use as a dupe or cat's paw in my intricate murder scheme? The world-famous detective.
This counts double if they have retired recently and/or sport affectations that make people underestimate them.
About to rock this guy's world with exciting facts from the Children's Illustrated Atlas.
Don't know if it's the same in Canada, but in the UK it's standard that when people bump into each other, you both say 'sorry'. If I apologise and the other person doesn't, I resent them heartily for breaking the social contract...
Every order at pittrapshop.com gets this small zine as a gift. It's just an A6 booklet, mainly about the shop, but there's also a small MΓRK BORG dungeon, a ghastly monster, a bunch of album reviews by me, and an interview with the one and only @christianeichhorn.bsky.social

Hope the rash recovers from that nasty-looking Trump it's got.
Sean Hjelle should be the Cardinals' bench coach under Oli Marmol. That way, you could have Hjelle giving Marmol aid.
Looks great!
Let's all ignore that I misspelt 'palaeo'.
How about Darren Naish and John Conway's Tetrapod Zoology Podcast? (Although you'll want another paleao podcast as well, because the episode release schedule is 'when we find the time to record one, which might be months away'.)
I think it's very generous of Spurs to ride to the rescue of my beleagued Nottingham Forest. So long as they keep losing, I won't hear a word said against these North London angels.
π I'm so delighted to introduce you all to the latest (& tiniest) denizens of Rascaltown the LIL RASCALS! π
I think these are definitely some of the most fantastic minis we've made yet and I'm so hyped that they're FINALLY OUT RIGHT NOW at roguehobbies.com
I hope you guys love them π₯²

From the other place.
My Reddit account was hacked and the official Blackoath community taken over, so I had to start a new one. If you're a Reddit user, please come join us! www.reddit.com/r/BlackoathR...
I'd appreciate it if you spread the word, too!
An image with copies of the two wargame rulebooks Warriors of Athena: Heroes and Warriors of Athena: Quests side by side above "OUT NOW" in large font and below 4 slices of illustration of Greek myth inspired scenes: one coiling head of the hydra, a warrior drawing back a bow, an undead ferryman, and a charging armoured centaur. All of this is against a stylised white marble background.

Why would I fight you when we could be drinking dunkles?
The Tetrapod Zoology podcast lives again. Yes, episode 95 is here: It's Been Haulong? A year and a half of catchup! #TetZooCon regenerates into #DinoCon, 20 years of TetZoo, Haolong, Spinosaurus (URG!), and much more meandering and tangentiality... tetzoo.com/podcast
I thought that was pretty expensive for Ben and Jerry's and that's because it's shed & fence paint
well we are already funded but if you want some sci fi goodness in you hearts check it out www.kickstarter.com/projects/imp...
Rebel women between the wars: breaking boundaries 1918-39 by Sarah Lonsdale. featuring line drawings of a pen, mountains and a spanner
A dreary February day...brightened by first glimpse of this utterly fabulous cover for the paperback of my book Rebel Women Between the Wars. About the pathfinding, change-making, incomparably brave, and resilient women who opened the gates for the rest of us...out April 7, but you can preoder now!
Stack of three 'Road Warriors' zines.

Thanks! (I was more thinking of Foundry's Mycenaeans; I seem to remember most (all?) of the Lucid Eye Greeks were classical hoplite rather than Mycenaean, but am not really sure which other company's figures would scale best with LE minis.)
They look excellent! What's the Wargames Foundry miniatures' height like compared with those cool Lucid Eye Amazons?
It's silly to say it 'looks like shit', but 30 fps doesn't feel great to me for sim driving or fighters. For less precise games, no probs, but I like a few more delicious frames for twitch stuff...
