One takeaway: progressive activists need to ACTIVATE a smaller portion of the population than they realize, but PERSUADE a larger proportion of the population than they realize. Easier said than done, and not everyone is moveable ... but some are.
A chart shows that progressive activists often overestimate how many people hold progressive views, sometimes by 100 or even 200 percent. For example, progressive activists estimate that 25 percent of people hold the view "The government should allow more refugees into the country," when only 8 percent actually hold that view.
