Tl:Dr he's sick and he's been ok lately so I might be overreacting.

He said he'd buy tickets so that's not a big factor and I'm only working per diem right now so that's not a big excuse either

My sister is going to visit next week. I'm going to see how it goes for her. It's tough because my dad is sick and I'd like to spend time with him before or in case it gets worse

I feel uncomfortable/unsafe just being gay and visiting my dads evangelical community in Florida, (I said I'd go next month and I'm tense about it) as a trans people I'd be exhausted and REALLY scared. I have so much respect for the resilience and strength trans people have day to day.
