The scene is dominated in red, as a devils lounges on an obsidian throne, holding a golden goblet out with an inviting smirk. The membrane on his large inverted wings juts up and catch much of the light, while the more solid "fingers" arch towards the viewer and remain tonally cold.

Clip Studio Paint has a timelapse feature that allows you to playback (and convert to video), so yeah I do record a lot of the drawings passively!
Recording every action can balloon the file to gigabytes though so when I don't plan on touching a piece again I make the vid and delete the timelapse

Classic half dirty sketch into color
The hotheaded (literally) Galmron stares at Thonis, wondering what's gotten into him trying carrying their pet (and ride home). He doesn't disclose a clear answer, letting him guess eitther a sense of pride or a dare. Dralgon slumbers peacefully regardless, enjoying the nap. Of course Tios still fits and is thus unbothered, concocting the sufferings of tomorrow.
Character base colors and shadows, sharing from 11 colors overall. Some base colors are shadows in another and vice versa!

Characters had a limited color palette before the details and gradients came in, seemed cute and helped with the cohesion later on!

Weird perspectives sometimes give me enough space to add multiple characters while equalizing their presence in a piece. The lighting and characterization in their roles here are just fun to realize!
Wearing a sly smirk, the raven flies precariously in a diagonal position, opossum in tow as he's held by the back. Clouds swallow the scene, with a purple region illuminating the two. Stars fly alongside them carrying a red tint; a salvo of fire magic also conjured by the raven. The hapless rodent can only look down in horror, not even seeing the ground below.

There's a whole webcomic about these guys I couldn't read in time, and I may have slimmed down the raven too much for the perspective. Hand wings came out right though, and flying with fire magic is an awesome visual!
A goblin fisherman with a beaver hat pulls in a net cast in the swamp, shocked in fishing out what appears to be a bug hag influencer, illuminated blue by the phone she holds up. She seems unfettered by the whole net situation, maybe even posting about it to her active, trillion strong fanbase of bugs.

This one finished itself by asking so many what ifs, each one more stupid fun than the last.
Started with "what's in the net?",
Responded with "who's in the net?".
A groupie of a trio in a skating rink blaring with colorful lights, taken enthusiastically by a woman utterly ready to party. A guy of dazzling colors and retro attire poses for the camera while pulling a struggling guy in ice cream uniform (his free arm sloshing in the air — it's made of ice cream). Most of them will look back to this memory in fondness.

The energy on this! Was blasphemy to draw with the lights and perspective. Also just wizened up with how to manage layers just then, looks rough to me but still a vibe nonetheless!

One look and I knew I HAD to draw her, then the sketch formed so quickly I thought it would've been more raw if I left it as-is. The circular focus to her is just too good to pass up. Would wanna refine/redraw this.
The scene drowns in aqua due to heavy rain, and yet a few souls have made a quick refuge after running out of options. The orange-tailed mono whips up a quick meal, and the blue-tailed mono snuggles around layers of fabric, her tail illuminating its patched patterns. Meanwhile, the tall, spiny mono covers the former with his pink-tail and props up his purple blanket-cloak to cover the latter.

One of my favorites! The intensity of the aqua is strongest when rain strikes a surface and flies up slightly. Treble (tallest) wears that blanket to to avoid injury via spines, so his actions here come in layers! Love it!
A jerbeen and his giant blue jay companion zip through the sky, his weapon and scarf trailing behind as their point of origin quickly shrinks behind them. While the jay and sky nearly blend into blue, the uniform is strikingly red, hailing from a supposedly extinct legacy of Featherlights; skyward guardians especially trained against magic. As the only Featherlight sailing the air, the legacy lies on him.

The flow came so easily, some anatomy break made the weapon grip sketchy... still looks more fun this way!

A gilded armadillo lizard, plated and all curled up when while biting its tail.
When I made him, he was more inspired from Ark's thorny dragons and armadillo gilded lizards. He's strange and reptilian and I may have focused on that lots.
That being said, looking at pangolins now... I should've had them as reference when making him HAHA look at the patterns on em!!

A muscular yuan-ti halfblood stands (slithers) at the center of the frame, his hood flaring out displaying snake heads as is resembling anathema. His lower almost torso looks plated before transitioning to a huge, colorful snake tail, red inward with the scales reflecting all sorts of colors. His hands mercilessly clutch another yuan-ti by the head, squirming helplessly as he's further coiled by the tail. Blood drips from the grip, but also on the victim's claw puncturing his captor's right arm.

A Terrarian satyr bard eyes something while seated on the ground, donning gold bracelets and a loincloth. Sitting on his similarly yellow, messy hair are a set of violet antlers (fake, it's a worn headpiece) and two small red horns. More notably, waist down he's covered in violet fur.
