My housekeeper is doing a terrible job lately

(it’s me, I’m my housekeeper)

$1B per day is about $42 million per hour. About 30 min worth of that spending can fund my lab for my ENTIRE career (~20 3-year NSFs or ~10 5-year R01s). Please wrap your head around that.

AI-generated artwork is officially not eligible for copyright protection after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to review the appeal.

The court ruled that a work must have a human creator in order to qualify for copyright.

No but for real!!! I've had clients give me their "stick figure" drawings along with their written explanations and honestly I love them so much when I get 'em.

They're usually accompanied with an apology for how "bad" they are but honestly they're extremely helpful to us!!!

Generative AI is an engine for churning out contaminated information faster than people can produce safe information, let alone fact check and correct it.
