Hospital bill
I wanted folks that wonder how a bill from US healthcare looks to have the chance to see one. This is for back surgery to correct scoliosis. The amount at the bottom is what I pay. This is just for the surgery, there will be another bill for the hospital stay and a bill from the anesthesiologist.

People who have universal healthcare, is it a separate tax so you know how much you pay in?
For my son I pay $375 a month ($4500 per year) but he had an emergency room visit this year that my share of is about $2200. So if you pay less than $6700 a year I would have saved money there.
I’m fine with that as long as we keep in mind that there was nothing wrong with “No Kings”, Republicans redefine words and slogans to mean other things. Nobody ever meant a literal red-robed crown-wearing king. We should make it clear we had to dumb it down to get the right message to Fox News.
It seems like people used to bring fresh baked goods to other people just for no reason. Did that really happen? We should bring that back. I want fresh baked bread for no reason and I have a recipe for snickerdoodles that makes way too many.

I think the whole thing is hysterical. He is a big fat orange joke. Knocking down a third of the White House right after saying he would not make any changes to that part of the White House is so insanely on brand. Keeping an historic building means nothing because Democracy is lost.
Absolutely! We have been begging for this since the first day DOGE broke into the first building. There has to be an entirely separate representation for our country. One that puts the under $50,000 a year crowd as its main priority.

According to the Supreme Court he is above all laws. Everybody else is saying the one where you can’t damage federal property and you can’t spend money without Congressional approval.
It is extremely important to communicate clearly loudly repeatedly and everywhere what the party’s beliefs are but if the party never advances those beliefs; it’s all lies and false hope. For example: If they believe in a living wage why is federal minimum wage $7.25?
